A Haunting in South Porcupine

"For the last 5 years I have been visited frequently by a little girl about 7 years old!" - we received the following information from Jess Germain in South Porcupine.

"I bought a house 5 years ago in South Porcupine. This house was a boarding house at one time. It has since been converted into a triplex.

I would often be sitting on the couch looking in the hall yelling to my kids to go to bed because I thought it was one of them staring at me late at night. So I would get up to chase them away to find them sleeping in their beds!!!! I also would be watching a movie or television when I would hear my original hardwood floor squeak as if someone was walking on them. So I would put my trek vision on mute to listen to it!!!! So creepy but awesome to hear!!

My boyfriend never believed me until one day he was standing in the hallway and said that little girl just walked by me!!!  She frequents only my hallway living room area and seems to be harmless! I often find myself trying to make a connection:)"

Naturally we wanted more information and asked Jess to answer a few questions for us.

Overlord -  Do you know any more of the history of the house? How old is it? Was there a tragedy there?

Jess - "My house was built in 1937. We live right off of Porcupine Lake. I know for sure there has been at least one death in the basement about 7 years ago! A man (Squatter ) with an drug and alcohol addiction was released early from the hospital and had gangrene due to a cut!"

Overlord -  When did these encounters start?

Jess - "I started seeing her a few months after I moved here!"

Overlord - How do you try to make a connection?

Jess - "Sometimes I sit in the dark and listen for her to move across my floors and if I walk in the dark to my room I always feel like I'm going to run into her where I stop to think if she is in the way!!! Weird I know but awesome too."

About the photo - No one is claiming that there are any apparations or ghostly images in the photo. We asked Jess to provide us with a photo of the hallway for the story to include with her story.

Status - Unexplained 

Not everything can be explained, and simply because something is unexplainable does not mean that it isn't real. At the very least this is an interesting story.
